UNSHAKABLE
There was a small village nestled at the base of a mighty mountain. In the center of the village stood a single tower, built not of stone but of a strange, radiant metal. The villagers called it the “Tower of Strength,” for no matter how fierce the storms or how powerful the earthquakes, the tower stood firm.
One day, a traveler arrived, weary and battered from the trials of the road. He marveled at the tower and asked the villagers how it could withstand such relentless forces.
An elder smiled and replied, “The strength of this tower is not in the material it is made of but in its foundation. Its roots go deep into the rock beneath, unshaken by the world above. This rock is not ordinary; it is the Rock of Ages, unmovable and eternal.”
The traveler asked, “And can I build upon this rock as well?”
“Indeed,” said the elder. “But to build, you must first let go of your own plans and tools. Only when you rely fully on the Rock’s strength and not your own will your foundation be unshakable.”
The traveler knelt, surrendering his burdens, and began to build. From that day forward, his life became like the tower—steadfast, immovable, and filled with strength greater than his own.
I never falter, though storms may howl;
For my roots are deep,
And my heart is stout.
Not made by hands,
Yet I stand tall—
What am I,
And who keeps me from the fall?
